Object variable or With block variable not set
There are a variety of things to check to resolve this error.
- Open Windows Explorer and go to the Mfgsys folder.
- Open the FS.CFG file.
- Check the path for WnXportFiles.
- Verify that AR_ACCTS.DBF, CUSTACCT.DBF and ITEMACCT.DBF are in the folder designated by the WinXportFiles variable.
- Verify the following fields only are selected in the data view ITEMACCT:
Interco versions less than 4.2.119
ITEM COST_FMLY INV_ACCTNO
Interco version 4.2.119 and greater:
ITEM COST_FMLY INV_ACCTNO SAL_ACCTNO COGS_AC_NO
RL_MAT_CST RL_LAB_CST RL_VR_OVHD RL_FX_OVHD RL_OUT_CST
- Run the ITEMACCT extract that is part of the MGL task.
- Product Line Accounting users go to step 8, Multi-Company users to to step 10.
- If the AR_ACCTS.DBF and CUSTACCT.DBF are not in the folder designated by WinXportFiles, copy the files from the Dasm folder. They can also be found on the Divisional Accounting CD.
- Product Line Accounting users go to step 16.
- Multi-Company users who sell products manufactured by one division to another division's customers, check this step. Otherwise, copy the AR_ACCTS.DBF file from the Dasm folder to the Xport folder as above and go to step 13. In Fourth Shift, go to the Customer Master (CUID) screen for the related customer(s). SOP users go to the Customer screen. Make sure all of all of the Accounts Receivableaccounts are complete for all customers.
- Verify the following fields only are selected in the data view AR_ACCTS:
CUST_ID ACCOUNT_NO
- Rerun the AR_ACCTS extract, part of the MGL task.
- Multi-Company users who sell products between divisions, check this step. Otherwise, copy the CUSTACCT.DBF file from the Dasm folder to the Xport folder as above and go to step 16. In Fourth Shift, go to the Customer Master (CUID) screen for the related customer(s). SOP users go to the Customer screen. Make sure all of the accounts in the related customers have values in them. Those accounts are Accounts Receivable, Sales, Cost of Sales and Freight.
- Verify the following fields only are selected in the data view CUSTACCT:
CUST_ID CUST_NAME FRGHT_ACCT SAL_ACCTNO COGS_AC_NO
ACCOUNT_NO CTRL_CURR
- Rerun the CUSTACCT extract, part of the MGL task.
- Verify the ITEMACCT1 and CUSTACCT1 tables exist in the Modgldb.mdb file. If one or the other table is missing, import those tables from the Modgldb.mdb file on the CD.
- Delete the Modcomsl.tmp file.
- Rename any modcom mcx files to mc.
- Run the applicable module communication process, such as APMC, GLMC, IVMC or Load Daily Transactions.
- Rerun the Daily Allocation Tool (Interco.exe)
